What you won't find at Britt's Donuts includes cream-filled, cake, powdered or any other variation of doughnut besides glazed. What you will find at Britt's, however, are hot, delicious, glazed doughnuts made from a time-honored recipe. Their famous doughnuts have kept locals and tourists coming back for more since the shop opened in 1939. With its blue-and-white-striped awning, unembellished counter and sweet aroma of doughnuts cooking, Britt's has long served as an icon of the Carolina Beach boardwalk. During the summer, Britt's stays open from 8:30 AM to 10 PM seven days a week. But you better get your fill of their doughnuts while you can, because Britt's closes during the off-season.
