June - August 2021  The Pleasure Island Chamber of Commerce hosts its free Summer Concerts at the Fort Fisher Air Force Recreation Area on the Cape Fear River in Kure Beach. The concerts are held on the second and fourth Fridays of the month, beginning July 9th and continuing thru to September 24th (weather permitting). Grab the children, bring a chair or blanket and prepare to sit back, relax and enjoy some great music from 6:30 PM until 8:30 PM. Attendees are welcome to bring their own food, but no alcoholic beverages or pets are permitted. Beverages are for sale on site.
